It's not everyday that a girl manages to slip through the nets and make it to the rank of knight without someone noticing long before it could be an issue.  This is the story of one who managed to do it and make a name for herself in the process.

Allanna of Brun; born to a squire and his bakers daughter wife.  She was the first of 4, all girls.  Now, that may not seem a horrible thing, but for a man who had served knights his whole life and would never rise above the rank of squire himself, the lack of a son to carry on the line broke his heart.  So, a plan was hatched, the wheels set in motion and the consequences would be felt only down the line.
